Scuba diving in Maldives is considered to be the most exciting and adventurous way to discover and to unfold secrets of the underwater world. on North Ari Atoll is a best diving site beginners with tidal current flowing from light to strong. Tinfushi Thila is a long around 120 metres but thin thila in a channel or kandu with caves. This diving site is quite a delightful place for avid divers. The caves are concentrated with rich and vibrant marine life. White tip reef sharks, napoleon wrasse and eagle rays are regular visitors. The best part of diving in this region is on the eastern and northern sides of the thila.


Ukulhas Thila, a 300 metre long, located in North Ari Atoll and just 10 minutes away from Veligandu is for intermediate and advanced divers and has low air consumption. Because of strong water current beginners may face difficulty in diving in Ukulhas thila. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse at manta rays.

Vilamendhoo thila on South Ari Atoll, Bodufinolhu Thila and Kudarah Thila are other thilas in Maldives famous for magnificent underwater world and flow of current. While immersing in thila diving, take extra torch light as underwater visibility factor plays an important role in scuba diving.
